How we're using new technology to help our older techology.
It's amazing how fast the technology has changed in segments of the wireless internet industry and also how well some of the older equipment still works. Our original Trango radios are working great and have been extremely reliable over the years. Unfortunately, we have put too many customers on our main access point and the speed has slowed down a little but we're fixing that by moving bulk users off of that radio freeing up more bandwidth for the rest. When we started this business our competition was offering 1.5 Meg download while we were giving between 5 and 7 Meg. As we've added users, it's gone down to about 3 Meg but should now start to go up slowly as we move the small community relays off the Trangos and on to a new system. We've worn out 3 Trango access points on the tower over the years but the customer radios have continued to operate with very few problems.

Dennis - thanks for the update. It is long overdue. It looks like you tried to make the backbone switch today, and it didn't go too well. We're back to Fibercloud, and all is working after a day of very spotty service. Please keep us informed.
